What to do, what to do… So our races are gone for now…
The best mindset right now, is something like so many of those athletes set to go to the Olympic Games. Hell yeah… I have another 365 of training to be even more prepared.
For us, we aren’t going to the olympics, yes our races can be the cherry on the pie, but really, the pie is more important than the cherry.
That is why I like to say the event is life. So we train to be ready.
This dynamic live training program will be updated biweekly by Kristian and Charlotte. You’ll get specific workouts designed to help you move forward towards the goals of the specific program.
What are those goals?
Well we all know that things have changed right now and we don’t know for how long.
Now is not the time to maintain race fitness that some of you had built due to now cancelled races that were coming up fast. You can only hold that fine line for so long before it becomes too much.
Now we have this opportunity of a reset. But that doesn’t mean we have to lose all that hard won fitness. This is the perfect plan to keep some structure in your life right now. And one that will see you end up stronger, fitter and healthier. It’s exactly what’s needed right now.
In this plan, we have options for 4, 5 or 6 day per week running that will allow you to leverage the fitness, strength and health you develop for when a race build comes back. I’ve also included the often neglected training. Like body weight and basic equipment based strength programs and stretching. There is also advice on the other areas you need to be looking after at this time. Sleep, nutrition, hydration and further body maintenance.
We also will give you access to our private facebook group to ask questions about the plan/s, be part of a great community and give us updates on restrictions you are facing so we can ensure that all athletes needs are met at this time.
Once you purchase the level of the training you need (4, 5, or 6 days per week running) you’ll be provided with a Training Peaks link that will add Kristian as your coach and the plan will be added to your training peaks account.
